WTGTD Seminar Description Page
This exciting, popular seminar teaches participants how to use writing as a powerful tool for getting things done. They will learn how to write quickly and effectively – saving time for themselves and their readers. They will impress others with their ability to get to the point quickly, clearly, and concisely!
This seminar ends the “tag-you’re-it” e-mail syndrome, where people write stream of consciousness e-mails in the hope that something will get done.
Target Audience:
This is not a remedial writing program for “problem writers.” This course is for everyone who uses writing to communicate information. This seminar is a must for managerial and professional staff whose job requirements include effective written and email communications.
Program Design:
These three parts of the program ensure mastery of Writing to Get Things Done.
- Pre-seminar Analysis: Each participant submits a writing sample. We suggest ways to highlight key ideas and simplify the organizational style. This analysis and feedback prepares participants with specific writing skills to work on and makes the transfer of learning quick and easy.
- Seminar Session: The focus is on improving participants’ actual on-the-job writing skills. They are amazed at how quick and easy it is to rewrite their pre-seminar writing samples using our feedback as a guide to write more clearly.
- Follow-up Support: For up to 30 days after the seminar, participants are invited to send writing samples by fax or e-mail to Berry Writing to Get Things Done.
