Stan Berry, President

Professional writing coach Stan Berry has devoted the past 34 years to improving the writing skills of more than 50,000 business and governmental professionals.  Stan's unique and energetic approach to teaching makes the class engaging and fun. Stan has also authored five books on business writing that he uses in his seminars.

Stan’s fascination with effective writing began at age 13 when his mother, a poet and writer, and father, an English teacher, began critiquing his school papers.  Soon after, he fell in love with training while watching his father teach engineers at Honeywell, Medtronic, General Mills and 3M.

Stan has a Bachelor’s of Science in education from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s of Arts and Religion from Yale University. He’s been a member of ASTD (American Society for Training & Development) since 1975 when he served on the Board of Directors for the Twin Cities Chapter.

Stu Tanquist, Senior Consultant

Stu Tanquist has presented at four ASTD National Leadership and TechKnowlege conferences, written two best selling ASTD Info-Lines, and served as a four year board member for ASTD’s third largest chapter. The focus of his speaking and writing has been the implementation and evaluation of E-Learning initiatives.

With over 20 years in the learning and development field, Stu’s expertise has ranged from working as a professional trainer to serving as a strategic-level director for training and development. He holds three degrees including a Masters in management.
